At Zort, we believe in complete transparency and user control over personal data. That's why we've made it simple to manage your privacy settings and, if you choose, permanently delete your account and all associated data.
How to Delete Your Account
We've made the account deletion process straightforward and accessible both from within the app and through our dedicated deletion portal.
Method 1: Through the App
- Open the Zort app on your iOS device
- Navigate to Settings from the tab bar
- Scroll to the Account section
- Tap on Delete Account
- You'll see a confirmation dialog (shown below)
- Tap Yes to proceed to our secure deletion portal
Method 2: Direct Web Access
You can also initiate account deletion directly through our web portal:

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
When you delete your Zort account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your user profile and personal information
- All betting history and tracked bets
- Analytics and performance data
- Friend connections and social interactions
- Uploaded bet slip images
- Custom categories and preferences
- Chat history with AskZort AI
- Any subscription or Pro membership data
Privacy Controls While Using Zort
If you're not ready to delete your account but want more privacy, Zort offers granular privacy controls:
Bet Visibility Settings
- Private Only: Nobody can see your bets
- Friends Only: Only approved friends can view your betting activity
- Everyone: Your bets are visible to all Zort users
Managing Your Data
- Export your betting history at any time from Analytics
- Delete individual bets from your history
- Control push notification preferences
- Manage friend requests and connections
Data Retention Policy
When you request account deletion:
- Your account is immediately deactivated
- Personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days
- Anonymized aggregate data may be retained for analytics
- We comply with all applicable data protection regulations
Need to Take a Break Instead?
If you're considering deletion because you need a break from betting tracking, consider these alternatives:
Tip: You can simply log out of the app and take a break without deleting your account. Your data will be safely stored and waiting when you return.
- Set all bets to private visibility
- Disable push notifications
- Log out and take a break
- Use our betting goals feature to set limits
Recovery Period
For security and to prevent accidental deletions, we offer a 7-day grace period after you initiate deletion. During this time:
- Your account is deactivated but not yet deleted
- You can cancel the deletion by logging back in
- After 7 days, deletion is permanent and irreversible
